Can I speak english in France?
In France the official language is French. All over France and particularly in areas popular with tourists many people are able to speak English. So, English speakers in France will have no problem enjoying their holiday. However, although many French people speak very good English, they are proud of their own language and appreciate it when visitors make an effort.
