Paris Visite Card
With the Paris Visite card you can travel freely on the Paris public transport system which includes the Metro (the Paris underground system), the RER (fast trains between major stations and the suburbs) and the Ile-de-France bus lines (RATP and Optile)* and the Montmartre funicular.
If you intend to stay in the city centre and visit the most popular sights choose a Paris Visite Pass covering zones 1-3.
If you want to travel into the suburbs, choose zones 1-6 which will also take you to and from destinations such as Disneyland Paris, Versailles and the airports including Charles de Gaulle and Orly. The Paris Visite Card for zones 1-6 is also valid for the Roissybus from Charles de Gaulle and the Orlyval (linking Orly Airport to the RER B).
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ZONE 1-6 CARDS ARE GRADUALLY BEING REPLACED BY ZONE 1-5 CARDS WHICH INCLUDE EXACTLY THE SAME AREAS. IT IS THEREFORE POSSIBLE THAT YOU RECEIVE EITHER TICKETS DEPENDING ON STOCK AVAILABILITY.
The Paris visite pass can be bought for 1, 2, 3 or 5 consecutive calendar days. It is not dated when you receive it and only becomes active from the date you first use it. When you receive it you will also receive a Paris Metro/RER and street map with discount coupons for various attractions around Paris.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The RER B Line between Charles de Gaulle Airport and Paris in both directions will be affected by closures for engineering works at weekends and after 11pm on weekdays until 2012. An intermittent bus replacement service will operate but Hello Paris recommends that you take the Roissybus into Paris or some other method if you think you will be travelling at these times.
