Guided Minibus Tours - Discovery of Champagne

Visit to Reims and its cathedral, followed by visit to small champagne maker in Epernay, traditional lunch, and visit to Moet et Chandon Champagne House.
Departure : 07.30 am on Wednesdays & Saturdays.
Duration: Approx. 10 1/2 hours
First stop of your Champagne tour: Reims. Here you will have a short visit of the Cathedral, a gothic masterpiece where the Kings of France came to be crowned. Following this you will visit a small champagne-maker near Epernay. Depending on the time of year you will see the grapes press, winery, blending, riddling, disgorging, and finally sample a glass of the vineyards champagne.
Then lunch in the centre of Epernay in a restaurant serving a traditional menu from the region.
The afternoon with a visit to the world famous Moet and Chandon champagne house where an expert explains the method of champagne making from grape picking to bottling. The discovery of Moet et Chandons cellars will be followed by a champagne tasting session (one glass of champagne). Return to Paris following the River Marne. Includes entrance tickets.
