The Fragonard Perfume Museum is housed in a wonderful building dating from the time of Napoleon III. Once a theatre and then a velodrome for the elegant ladies of Paris, Fragonard has chosen to retain the spirit of this place steeped in history.
Immerse yourself in the world of 19th century perfume making. From the gathering of the raw materials to the sensitive noses of the perfume makers, the Perfume Museum reveals the secrets of perfume making. There is also a magnificent collection of precious perfume bottles dating from antiquity to the present day.
And at the end of your visit, you will be given one of the latest Fragonard creations: a pretty scented soap (150g or 0.33lb) from the Fragonard “Garden” range, which showcases the various scented plants that make Fragonard unique.
Departure from perfum museum daily except Sunday every 20 mins. No need to book, just turn up. The museum is open from 09.00 to 18.00 (last visit at 17.00).
