Opened in 1989, Parc Asterix is a giant theme park based on the adventures of the popular cartoon characters, Asterix and Obelix. It is the biggest, and arguably the best theme park in France. Located in the north of Paris with easy transport from Paris and the airport, it is made up of seven zany zones packed full of amazing attractions, restaurants, rollercoasters and surprises for the whole family. There are 31 permanent rides at the park, and 3 big shows every day running at different times around the park.
The rides range from gentle family rides and water attractions to breakneck roller coasters.

The park takes you on a crazy journey through ancient Gaul, Roman times and the Middle Ages right up to the 21st century. Visitors can meet the Gauls of pre-historic times, step back to the Middle Ages, journey through Rome and Ancient Greece, and shake hands with the Three Musketeers.

Book your tickets in advance and avoid the queues at the entrance. Have a good time, and may Toutatis be with you!
