The Bus & Boat trips were great, the Musee d'Orsay tickets saved us a 3 hour queue and the Eiffel tower tour not only saved us another 3 hour queue but also offered a fascinating behind-the-scenes glimpse. Happy to recommend buying these tickets in advance: it saves loads of fiddling with change, opening up your wallet in public spaces etc. Also within 10 minutes of the train stopping at Gare du Nord, we were sitting on a Metro train.
